Zinc Oxide USP
Composition : Zinc Oxide USP 40% ointment.
Indication : It is indicated for preventing and treating diaper rash as well as minor skin irritations (e.g. cuts, burns, and scrapes, poison ivy). It works by providing a skin barrier to prevent and help to heal skin irritation.
Dosage and administration : At first, wet and soiled diaper should be changed. Promptly; the diaper area is cleaned & allowed drying. A thin layer of ointment should be applied topically every 8 hourly. It should be applied liberally as often as necessary, with each diaper change, especially at bedtime or any time when exposure to wet diapers may be prolonged. Or, as directed by the registered physician.
Packing : 15gm ointment in a tube.
