Nitroglycerin USP
Composition : Nitroglycerin USP 2.6mg & 6.4mg Tablet.
Indication : Nidocard is indicated for the prophylaxis of angina pectoris due to coronary artery diseases. It is indicated for the supplementary treatment of heart failure refractory to digitalis and diuretic treatment. It is not suitable for treating an attack that has already started as the tablets will take too long to start working.
Dosage and administration : It should be individualized depending on the nitroglycerin sensitivity of the patient, the severity of illness and the occurrence of side effects.
Use in pregnancy and lactation : Pregnancy Category C by FDA.
