Telmisartan USP + Amlodipine USP
Composition: Each tablet contains Telmisartan USP 40mg & Amlodipine USP 5mg Tablet.
Indication:Telmisartan or Amlodipine tablet
are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other
antihypertensive agents to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure
reduces the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, primarily
strokes and myocardial infractions.
Dose and
Administration:Dosage
must be individualized the usual starting dose of this tablet 40mg. It may be
used alone or in combination with other hypertensive agents. Or, as directed by
the registered physician.
Use in Pregnancy
& Lactation:
When pregnancy is diagnosed Telmisartan should be discontinued as soon as
possible. Because it directly acts on the Rennin- Angiotensin System during
second and third trimester associated with fatal and nonfatal injury. It is
contraindicated during lactation. Since it is not known whether it is excreted
in human milk.
Packing: Each box contains 28’s tablets in a blister pack.
