Ketotifen Fumerate
Composition : Ketotifen BP 1mg/5ml Syrup.
Indication : 1. Bronchial asthma as a prophylactic treatment. 2. Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
Dosage and administration : Fenat Syrup : 1-2 teaspoonfuls twice daily with food. Patients known to be easily sedated 1/2-1 teaspoonful at night for the first few days. or, as directed by the registered physician. Children under 2 years of age : 1/2 teaspoonfuls twice daily or as directed by the registered physician.
Use in pregnancy and lactation : Pregnancy category C by the FDA.
Packing : Fenat Syrup : 100ml and 200ml syrup.
